Smile designing

See the plan before the treatment

Digital Smile Design uses photographs of your face and teeth to plan changes on screen. You see and discuss the proposed shape, size and proportion of your teeth before any work begins.

Full mouth rehabilitation

When several teeth need attention

If many teeth are worn, broken or missing, a full mouth rehabilitation plans crowns, bridges and other treatment together — restoring how your teeth bite and work, as well as how they look. Smile designing helps map out the whole plan from the start.

A crown is a cap that covers and protects a single damaged or weakened tooth. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth to crowns on the teeth either side of the gap.

With good brushing, flossing and regular check-ups, crowns can last for many years. How long depends on the material, your bite, habits such as grinding, and how well the tooth underneath is cared for. Your consultant will explain what to expect for your case.

Both. Smile designing plans how your teeth look, but it also considers how they bite and work together. When several teeth are worn, broken or missing, the plan can form part of a full mouth rehabilitation that restores function as well as appearance.

Usually at least two: one to prepare the tooth and take records, and another to fit the final crown after it has been made. A temporary crown protects the tooth in between. Your consultant will confirm the number of visits for your case.
